 The Nang Fah Project

The Näng Fäh Project, founded by accessory Designer Tytania Rose (right), will create products that celebrate the indigenous arts and crafts tradition of Thailand.  Zothansiami Ralte (left) manages and organizes teachers at the center.

See who is participating already in our cause!

The Nang Fäh Project’s mission is to reduce the number of children affected by CSEC, the commercial sexual exploitation of children, a growing global concern due to an increase in violent conflicts, poverty, natural disaster and use of children on the internet.

The Näng Fäh Project is building sustainable, self-supporting centers for rescued young girls of Southeast Asia and the Hill Tribe Communities in Thailand who have been abducted or forced into the sex trade industry for lack of work to support their families.

Our center, located in Chiang Mai, provides girls safe haven (room & board), counseling, medical treatment, education, vocational training in the production of eco-friendly fashion products, family stipends and, eventually, micro loans to families to begin their own businesses.

The Näng Fäh Project combines a philanthropic mission with a business model.  On site of the school is also a fully staffed accessory design and production workshop that makes products to be sold under the Näng Fäh Project label.  The workshop pays employees International Fair Trade Wages.  The growth of the accessories business will provide jobs for graduates, the local community, and profits will sustain and grow the school.

The Näng Fäh Project is a model that makes sense.  It is only through education and the creation of viable jobs that cycles of misery like this can be changed.
